Man, Garfield’s Jim Davis, everybody. He wakes up every morning and just nails it. I bet he has “No Mistakes” tattooed somewhere on his body because judging from every Garfield cartoon ever which I have read, he has never made a mistake. I think the movie The Scout with Brendan Fraser and Albert Brooks was based on Jim Davis because Jim Davis always hits home runs on the first pitch and throws only fastballs for strikes.

Jokes aside, I owned a ton of Garfield books when I was a kid and loved the cartoon show, like, a metric shitload. And this website Lasagna Cats has absolutely rekindled my love for it. Their tribute videos are tough to describe, but they are live action/musical love letters to individual strips. Below is one of my favorites, set to the tune of “Head Like a Hole.”
