Cold War Kids were on Leno last Thursday, and Elvis Perkins and Dearland stepped in to help them with horns and harmonium. They played “Hospital Beds” which is a very good and serious song. I had oral surgery when I was eight so I know what this track is talking about.

I for one loved the finale of the Sopranos. It was brilliant and the only way that show should have ended. But I also understand people who wanted a grander resolution. (I guess; art doesn’t owe anybody answers.) Anyway, I made a remixed final scene that I think gives some real closure.

Last night at Rififi was a blast. Thanks to everybody for coming out. Besides our already ridiculous lineup, the one and only Todd Barry made a surprise appearance to close the show, and he charmed the crowd despite his decision to throw around the c-word. (It was called for, I think.)
